Chasing Lasers

So Austin was cleaning his room the other day and found his laser toy he had forgotten about.  Luckily, he thought I would like it too!

It makes this red dot wherever you point it.  He likes to get my attention and then move it around so I will chase it.  I'm not sure why, but everyone laughs when I do.  It gets pretty wild and crazy sometimes!  Mom took a video of me last night...

The funny thing is, even when I catch it - and believe me, I'm fast!  Even when I catch it, there's nothing there.  Hmmm.  Can't figure that one out.

Mom says that life is like that sometimes.  People spend time chasing after things that are shiny, flashy, etc.  Yet even when they finally get them, they still feel empty.  That must be a bummer!  I hope they learn what's worth chasing and what to let go.

Hello!

Hi!  I'm Bear.  Nice to meetcha!

I'm a Cavapoochon - my mom is a Cavachon; my dad is a Toy Poodle.  I'm almost 4 pounds now.  But that's all techno-mumble-jumble...  I'm a puppy.  I'm cute.  And I'm fun.

Right now,  I'm 15-weeks old.  I've only been with my forever family for a little over two weeks.  I'll tell you some of the stories that have happened before now some other time.  Anyway, my family is awesome.  I love them and they love me!  Things are working out great (well, except I like to go potty in places they aren't too fond of sometimes).  But hey, we're all learning, right?

So, we were out for our morning walk today, I had to stop cause I heard this sound I hadn't heard before.  Mom said it was a kid practicing his violin inside his house with the windows open.  It was really good! Austin said he would play that kind of music on his phone for me if I liked it!  There is always something new to be learned when you're a pup.

Come to think of it, I bet there will always be something new to be learned.  No matter how old I get!
